The tickets for the upcoming International between Ireland and France in Croke Park on February 11th were allocated at a meeting of the club’s International sub-committee on Thursday last. Despite the 82,500 capacity of Croke Park, Sligo RFC received a mere 12 extra tickets compared to their usual allocation. However, requests to purchase tickets more than trebled. The tickets were distributed by the sub-committee strictly in accordance with the criteria published on Page 25 of 2006/07 Membership Handbook. All fully paid up club members who are also members of the club’s monthly draw and who are also active workers on behalf of the club were given the option to purchase tickets.
