Connacht Rugby come to town

This Sunday, August 7th and Monday August 8th the Connacht professional Rugby squad will be holding an open training session at Hamilton Park,Strandhill! Coach Eric Elwood will be putting the players through their paces from 2.00pm on Sunday, and following their work on the pitch the team will be available for autographs and pictures for all.

This training camp is part of Connacht Rugby’s commitment to bringing the professional team to all parts of the province and with Sligo RFC being the most Northerly club in Connacht it is the ideal choice. Added to the fact that the club have recently won promotion to the Ulster Bank All Ireland League gives this trip extra significance.

Its set to be a great day of entertainment for all the family with with the ever popular bouncy castles and a delicious barbeque to keep everyone sustained.

It promises to be a great family occasion so come along and join in the fun and bring all the family!
