The season winds down for a month now with the seasonal break, and it is with high hopes that all sections look forward to the new year as it has been a great first half of the season for the seniors, youths, and juveniles. With the seniors topping the league table under the expert guidance of Joe Walsh, Sligo find themselves with a massive chance of title glory this year. The next home game on January 11^th against Monivea will go along way to deciding the destination of this years title. All youth sides continue to prosper, along with the huge juvenile section and any enquiries on training over the Christmas period will be dealt with by the respective coaches. Sligo RFC would like to wish all it’s member, sponsors and supporters a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Thanks to anyone who has supported the club throughout the year and with the seniors, juvenile, and youth sections both having a very strong first half of the season, it is hoped that this will continue after the Christmas break.
