Sligos Junior B team continued their league preparation in fine style with a 44-3 win over local derby rivals Ballina at Strandhill on Sunday. A hat-trick of tries from French winger Max Mancien along with tries from Kieran Meehan, Mikey Conlon, Gary Collins and Khakaber Macadhitze saw the home team run out victorious.
Next week sees the Sligo outfit travel to the racecourse in Ballinrobe for their opening league match. Their pre season form promises a good league campaign for this team and an away starting victory would put them on the road for league honours.
