Successful Fundraiser Enjoyed By All in Skreen

Sligo RFC member, James Coulter, held a very successful tag-rugby fundraiser for the Niall Mellon Township Trust on Saturday last, 25^th October, in the Skreen/Dromard Community Centre. There was a great turnout on the evening, which saw Sligo RFC take on the local side St. Pats in a mixed tag game. In a close run encounter the club team ran out victorious by a narrow margin, but the exciting display of rugby by the local side suggests that this could be the start of a great tag team in Skreen. The event was well supported by club members and the local community alike and the evening was enjoyed by all and the figure raised will be very beneficial to a deserving cause. James would like to thank everyone who supported the event and who helped in making the event such a great success.
